Conflict Management Courses
Violence in the workplace is
an issue for many organisations, and sadly statistics show that 1 in
4 people will encounter violence while at work. It is the obligation
of all employers to train staff to be able to deal effectively with
any situations that may arise during the course of their work.
Currently we teach to national standards endorsed by City & Guilds,
as well as delivering Conflict Resolution in line with the NHS
National Syllabus.
Personal Safety
This course promotes awareness and the development of personal
safety skills.
Conflict Management
Explores the psychology of conflict and examines various bargaining
and negotiation strategies.
Self Defence
A practical examination of physical methods of Self – defence.
Control & Restraint
Develops the use of control and restraint skills, to enable staff to
respond appropriately.
Positive Handling
A non-pain based system of interventions, for use in specific
settings, eg Social care.
Dealing with Difficult Adolescent Behaviour
Develop skills and strategies to deal with difficult and anti –
social behaviour in a positive, proactive manner.
Assertiveness
Exploring the various uses of assertiveness, and methods for
developing it in individuals in order to improve their life styles.
Assertiveness for Women
Examines the specific needs of women to be more assertive, in a
world where they are still sometimes perceived as the weaker sex.
Lone Workers
This course is designed for anyone who work on their own. It will
increase participant awareness and confidence levels.
These courses can be delivered in a range of formats to suit
organisational demands, ie 1 day/ 2 day courses.
