We have a highly experienced
team of health & safety professionals and deliver our courses in
line with Health & Safety guidelines.
Principal Training Services is an approved centre with NCFE as well
as the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
We deliver a wide range of courses including:
First Aid at Work (4 days)

This is the HSE approved qualification that all employees delivering
work based first aid should hold. Delivered by highly experienced
trainers in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. (Valid
for 3 years)
First Aid Re-qualification (2 days)

This is the refresher qualification that must be taken every three
years in order to maintain a First Aid at Work qualification.
Emergency Aid

One day course which covers the basic aspects of First Aid (valid
for 3 years)
Defibrillator Training (1 day)

This course instructs students in the use of defibrillator
equipment, which if used correctly can be a vital asset in order to
preserve life.
Food Hygiene

This is a 9 hour programme delivered over 1 or 2 days, and is
accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
Manual Handling

As well as delivering our own in house courses on manual handling,
we deliver the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health’s 1 day
programme. Courses can be tailored to Manual Handling of people (or
manual handling of objects)
Health and Safety

Chartered Institute of Environmental Health’s ‘Foundation
Certificate in Health and Safety’.
Risk Assessment

This course examines the various aspects of Risk Assessment and
regulations required by the HSE.
COSHH

This is a 1 day course accredited by CIEH, that covers all aspects
of the COSHH regulations, and gives strict guidelines on
implementing policies and procedures.
Infection Control

This is a 1 day course focusing on the specific problems caused by
Infections. This is a one day course focusing on the specific
problems of infection and how to implement effective strategies to
eliminate risk.
Fire Marshals / Fire Safety Training

These courses cover a wide range of topics, including regulations,
knowledge of fire systems, use of extinguishers, fire awareness, and
practical demonstrations (if needed).
We can also organised mystery customer / internal surveillance
reports in order to audit workplaces, employees, or just to maintain
quality management programmes. |
